Yashaswi Education Society's International Institute of Management Science, Chinchwad organised the Two Days National Conference in Association with AIMS on 'Current Trends in Management - Changes and Challenges'on27th& 28thof February, 2020 at Maharashtra State Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology,Shivajinagar, Pune. The two days National Conference witnessed some of the great speakers from the Academics and the Industry.

The objective of the Conference was to provide an intellectual forum for exchange of knowledge and information in relation to latest developments in the field of Management. On the first day 6 Sessions were conducted which included Chief Guest Address, Two Key Note address and 1 Panel Discussion and parallel session for paper reading and on the second day 4 sessions were conducted which included 2 Invited Talks and parallel paper reading sessions.

The conference was inaugurated with auspicious saraswatiVandana, lamp lighting and garlanding ceremony of MaaSaraswati.The conference was inaugurated by Chief Guest- Dr.ApoorvaPalkar, Director, Innovation & Incubation Linkage, SPPU, Pune, and Past President aims, Guest of Honor- Dr. Ganesh Rao , Director MITCON and Executive Member of AIMS, Dr.ParagKalkar, Dean Faculty of Commerce & Management, SPPU.and Executive Member of AIMS. The Conference proceedings and research Journal Yashomanthan were inaugurated by the hands of the Guests.

Dr. Palkar Madam laid emphasis on Innovation & Entrepreneurship as the new trends of Management. Dr Kalkar gave stress on Artificial Intelligence and Industry 4.0. Dr.Rao focussed on role & need of basic skills in development of Expertise in the Industry. Inaugural session was concluded by Prof. Amar Gupta who gave vote of thanks and expressed his gratitude to everyone for being part of this grand intellectual gathering

Release of Yashomanthan and Conference Proceedings

The Inauguration session was followed by Keynote Address by the Keynote Speaker Mr. AtulBengari who spoke on the skill set that the Industry today is demanding and the negative impact of social media on youths.

The conference brought together over 120 Participants from more than 3 states representing different Universities across India. There were two technical sessions for Paper Presentations. The Session Chairs for the Morning Technical Session were Dr. K. V. Marulkar, Shivaji University, Dr. Sunil S. DhanwadeDirector, D. Y. Patil Management School. & Dr. G. Y. Shitole, Principal BCAS&C.

The Audience

A panel discussion of renowned Academicians and Industry Stalwarts was structured. Capt. (Dr.) C. M. Chitale was the Organiser & Moderator of the Panel Discussion. Other Panelists were- Mr.NitinDaangal - Associate Director HR at Leadec India Pvt Ltd., Mr. ZakirShaikh- Head HR Comau India Pvt. Ltd, Dr.Abhay Kulkarni- Director IICMR, Dr. Bharat Kasar- Director Camp Education Society, Dr. Nivedita Ekbote- Deputy Secretary, Progressive Education Society, Associate Professor at Modern Institute of Business Management, Pune. The Key take away for the attendees was the impact of AI & Analytics in coming days.

The Session Chairs for the Afternoon Technical Session were Dr. Sachin Borgave, Director, Pratibha Group of Institutes & Prof. Sneha Joshi, Senior Faculty PCMRD. A total of 12 Papers were presented on Day-1.
The Day-2 of the conference opened on an interesting note of Technology that will drive the world by 2030. The Keynote Speaker Dr. Viraj Atre engaged the session on upcoming trends in Automotive Sector & AI. The second Keynote Speaker was Mr. Mukund Jagirdar- General Manager (HR) Arcelor Mittal Nippon Steel India ltd who focused on Current Trends in Management.
The Session was followed by Paper Presentation. The Session Chair for the Dr. Y. S. Patil, Associate Professor VAMNICOM, Dr.Indu Sharma, Director ZIMCA and Dr. Vijay Dhole, Dean SIBAR. The session was followed by Paper Presentations by the researchers. A total number of 30 papers were presented in over two days.
The conference closed with the valedictory function. The Conference Highlights were presented by Dr. Vandana Mohanty. In the valedictory session key persons, practitioners and chair members shared their experiences of the conference. The certificate given ceremony was also held at the valedictory Academic Felicitations of the students was one of the major event in the valedictory. The vote of Thanks was presented by the Dean Dr Rajendra Sabnis.
